A little bit about me ...

I earned my degree in Graphic Design, started a career working for some advertising agencies, then in corporate marketing, product development & investor relations. I finally realized I loved making art more than all those other things ... picked up my paintbrush and never looked back!

 

While my home is in Sugar Land, Texas with my hubby of nearly 40 years, I grew up in the Catskill Mountains in New York where there are more cows than people.

 

I love walking barefoot on soft green mountain moss and make sure to always stop to smell the forget-me-nots. I collect twigs, toadstools, and moss. Wildflowers bring me to my knees. I'm obsessed with hand lettering and collecting ampersands. I believe thrift shops are a magical playground for creative inspiration. Product development is still one of my loves.

 

Sometimes I pretend to be a gourmet chef so I can play with creative garnishes & colorful plating.  I am grateful to my husband who encourages me to focus on my art and, thankfully, also loves my cooking.
